This zoo boasts a long history of over 110 years. It incorporates ecological exhibits, such as an African savanna zone where hippos and giraffes live, allowing visitors to see animals in their natural habitats.
■ZOO~m in Tennoji ~Special Stories about Animals~
Every third and fourth Sunday of the month, the zookeepers at Tennoji Zoo will share fascinating stories about the animals. The staff member giving the talk and the topic will change each time.
