David Austin English Rose Garden and Plant Center

This is one of the largest gardens in the world, with over 3,000 roses blooming here come spring.

Basic information

Situated on the Hanasaki Farm in Sennan City, Osaka Prefecture, David Austin's English Rose Garden takes pride in being one of the largest in the world, featuring gardens with the latest in English rose collections. Each garden is set apart from the others with its own unique theme, decorated with arches and obelisks trellised with vine roses. The area created with inspiration from the UK headquarters' renaissance garden is particularly beautiful, characterized by a clear stream running down its gently-sloping hillside. Come spring, 3,000 roses bloom here in the gardens. The center also has a variety of potted roses cultivated with care and grown to a point where they can be planted immediately after purchase. Many of these are grown in the gardens as well, so visitors can see what the mature forms of the bushes look like. Experienced and reliable staff are always on hand to answer any questions you might have.
