Stretching south from JR Kitashinchi Station and Nishi-Umeda Subway Station, this underground shopping mall, commonly known as "Dochika," is a passageway to the business district. On both sides of the roughly 250m-long passageway, there are approximately 60 stores, including restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, convenience stores, seal shops, shoe repair shops, business suits, and massage parlors. It opened in 1966, the year after the Yotsubashi Line opened. Since then, it has been bustling with the sight of office workers commuting between Nishi-Umeda and the business district of Dojima.
