Fujita Museum of Art



This art museum in Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City, houses the collection of Fujita Denzaburo, a businessman active during the Meiji period.
The museum houses approximately 2,000 pieces of ancient Oriental art from the Meiji era wealthy merchant Denzaburo Fujita and his son. Of these, 9 are national treasures and 53 are important cultural properties, making it one of the top privately owned art museums. The entry space, Amijima Teahouse, serves rice dumplings and tea.
