A two-minute walk after turning left from Exit 3 of the Osakajo-Kitazume Station of the JR Tozai Line. Fujita Museum of Art owns the oriental antiquity collection of Denzaburo Fujita, a wealthy merchant during the Meiji Era, and his descendants. Opened in 1954, its collection numbers approximately 5,000 articles, including paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, sculptures, lacquer ware, gold ware, dyed textile, and archaeological materials ranging from the ancient times to the Meiji Period. Of these, nine including the Murasaki-Shikibu Nikki Ekotoba and Yohen Tenmoku Tea Bowl are designated as national treasures, and 50 are designated as important cultural assets. This museum was created by renovating an old warehouse of the Fujita residence to create exhibition rooms, and there are no permanent exhibitions. Themed exhibitions take place twice a year, entitled Spring Exhibition and Autumn Exhibition, where the collection is partially exhibited.
