Take a cruise along the inner moat of Osaka Castle aboard a glittering golden pleasure boat (traditional Japanese boat). From the boat, you can see Osaka Castle Museum, the tallest stone walls in Japan, the protective human-faced stone, and the daimyo's inscriptions up close—it's a truly impressive sight. Experience the magnificent castle firsthand and the profound history of Osaka. Onboard, you will be guided by an audio guide on CD and the captain. [About the boat] The boat is a reproduction modeled after Hideyoshi's "Hoo-maru" as seen in the valuable folding screen painting "Toyotomi-era Osaka Picture Screen" (owned by Eggenberg Castle in Austria), which depicts Osaka Castle and its castle town during the Toyotomi period. The boat is heavily decorated with gold leaf.
