HEP FIVE is a commercial complex located in the heart of Umeda, Osaka. The bright red 75m diameter Ferris wheel, which is installed at the top of the building, is the symbol of this facility. The boarding point is on the 7th floor, and the gondolas rise above the roof to 106m above ground, offering a panoramic view of not only central Osaka but, on a clear day, all the way to the Akashi Strait. Music plays inside the 52 four-seater gondolas, which are fully air-conditioned and heated. One revolution takes about 15 minutes. At night, the wheels are lit up by computer-controlled floodlights.
