This park serves as a gateway to hiking trails around the neighboring Mt. Ikoma (including Nukata Park and Narukawa Park), and features a variety of slides that take advantage of the terrain, making it a popular spot for hikers and families alike. Experience the lush nature of the foothills of Mt. Ikoma within the park, and enjoy nature walks in any season, from the dazzling greenery of summer to the beautiful autumn foliage. The scenic Hiraoka Plum Grove boasts a wide variety of plum blossoms with different flower colors (white, pink, crimson) and shapes (single, double), ranging from early-blooming (around January) to mid-blooming (around February) to late-blooming (around March), allowing for extended viewing. Other notable sights include cherry blossoms, azaleas, and hydrangeas. The observation decks at Mt. Nukata and Mt. Hiraoka offer panoramic views of the Osaka Plain, and on clear days, even Awaji Island.
