When Osaka Castle was under construction, Hideyoshi praised the great skills of the original shop owner Izumiya Tokuzaemon and gave the shop the trade name "Kanbukuro". One of thier signature sweets is the Walnut cake, a small rice cake covered with sweet green bean paste (¥360). In summer, a walnut cake covered with shaved ice is also available (¥360).
