Kashiwara City Grape Sightseeing Center
Why not sample grapes and take home a bottle of wine?
Grapes produced in Kashiwara are also called Kawachi grapes or Katashimo grapes. Kashiwara has a long history of grape growing, and is known as Osaka's grape-production area. Today the grapes are marketed not only to Osaka but also further afield, and new arrangements such as pick-your-own vineyards and home delivery have been introduced. Locally produced Kashiwara wine is also popular.
