Kotakiji Campsite
Enjoy the great outdoors just 30 minutes from the city.
Conveniently located about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from downtown Osaka and about 30 minutes from downtown Kawachinagano, this campsite is surrounded by lush greenery and is located upstream from Takihata Dam.
In addition to the auto camping site, there are showers, flush toilets, tent rentals, an area to set up tents you bring your own, a kitchen, a shop, and parking.
There are also fishing spots for trout and amago trout, as well as a rest house nearby.
A five-minute walk from the campsite will take you to Koutaki Falls, one of the 48 waterfalls of Takihata.
The waterfall, with a drop of about 9 meters, is spectacular. From Hikari Falls, it is a 15-minute walk to Arataki Falls, a 30-minute walk to Mikkyou Falls, and another 40 minutes to Otaki Falls.
It is also an easy hiking course.
Takihata Dam and Takihata 48 Waterfalls have also been selected as one of the "100 Best Green Spots in Osaka."

- Take the Nankai Bus from Nankai or Kintetsu Kawachinagano Station, get off at Takihata Dam, and walk 20 minutes south. Alternatively, take the Takihata Community Bus, get off at Takihata Dam, and walk 20 minutes south.
