Kusumoto Shrine

He is widely revered by villagers as a god of agriculture and war, exorcising evil spirits of plague and protecting against illness and recovery.

Kuzumoto Shrine is one of the three Kuzumoto shrines listed in the Engishiki, and the date of its founding is unknown. It is said that during the reign of Emperor Yomei, Mononobe Moriya enshrined Futsuno-no-Okami as the guardian deity of Inamura Castle, the shrine's base, and as the ancestor of his clan. The shrine is widely revered by villagers as a god of agriculture and war, exorcising evil spirits of disease and illness, and as a god of healing. Monthly festivals are held on the 1st and 15th of each month.
