The Mizukoshi Chestnut Orchard invites visitors to come gather natural windfall chestnuts, made possible by staggering the admission areas over time. This staggering system wouldn't be a possibility without the 7,000 hectares (17,300 acres) of chestnut tree-covered mountainside available.
