Nishikinohama Beach

The beautiful green pine groves and white sandy beaches are impressive, and shellfish digging, barbecues, swimming, and marine sports are popular.
It's a 10-minute walk from Nishikihama Station on the Nankai Main Line. Located just under an hour from downtown Osaka, this popular beach is perfect for clam digging from early April to early June, and for swimming from mid-July to late August. The beach is popular with families, as well as young people enjoying the seaside, including windsurfers. There are also facilities for enjoying barbecues. The "two colors" in Nishikihama refer to the white sandy beach that stretches for about one kilometer and the green pine forest along the coastline. The beauty of the scenery has long been known as a scenic spot, and it has been selected as one of the "100 Best Green Landscapes of Osaka." The stunning sunsets over Osaka Bay have also been selected as one of the "100 Best Sunsets of Japan."
