Osaka Duck Tour
The tour, the first of its kind in Japan, offers a novel way of enjoying the cityscape of Osaka: that from aboard an amphibious bus. The attraction perfectly suits Osaka, the city of waterways, and is now available on a regular basis.
An exciting tour which cuts through the cityscape from land and from water is offered for the first time in Japan. The bus takes passengers on terra firma through historic Uemachi-Suji Avenue, offering a view of Osaka Castle, and then, at Sakuranomiya Park (famous for cherry blossoms), it splashes into the Okawa River, "swims" across it, lands on the opposite bank and continues driving along Osaka City's artery, Midosuji. The tour lasts about 75 minutes. It is accompanied by a knowledgeable and entertaining guide, who provides explanations about the city of Osaka in an interactive manner. Although the tour is currently the hottest in town, passengers are advised to dress warmly during winter months. The tour's meeting point is at Osaka Duck Tour Reception counter of "River Station"Hachikenya B1.
