Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium is located a three-minute walk west from Exit No. 2 of Asashio-bashi Station of Osaka City Osaka Metro Chuo line. Equipped with a main arena, a sub arena, a judo hall and a kendo hall, as well as large, medium and small conference rooms, the gymnasium can serve as a venue for various types of events and sports meetings. The gymnasium was constructed based on a concept of "harmony with nature" with a motif of two green hills. The gymnasium is also equipped with stages, large-scale visual equipment and acoustic and lighting facilities, which make it suitable as a venue for not only professional and amateur sports meetings but also various other events.
