Shin Kabukiza

The venue is characterized by a seating area that is full of realism, with the performers and audience being close to each other.
The Shin Kabukiza in Namba, beloved for over 50 years since its opening in 1958 for its Momoyama-style karahafu-style exterior, moved to Osaka Hommachi in September 2010. It seats approximately 1,500 and has a long, shallow, three-tiered structure, preserving the distinctive Namba Shin Kabukiza's characteristic close distance between performers and audience, creating a truly immersive space. A wide variety of performances are presented, from plays and special shows led by top stars to musicals and concerts. Hommachi YUFURA building, where the theater is located, also houses a restaurant and cafe, which can be used before, during, or between performances.
