Osakasayama City Museum

Explore historic materials and discover the Sayama of yesteryear!
Basic information
This museum uses eleven different themes, including “Ancient Sayama,” “Sayama Pond in Gyoki’s Paintings,” and “Feudal Sayama,” to introduce visitors to historical Sayama. Visitors can learn about the history of the area from a variety of perspectives while examining the exhibited stone tools, weapons, and documents. The intrepid visitor can even stop at the library next door and pick up more details on ancient Sayama. Anyone who wants to not only look at historical artifacts but experience history for themselves can simply step out into the city and explore the ancient Nishi-Koya Kaido and Amano Kaido highways.
