Johoku Iris Garden





The iris garden has been selected as one of the "100 Best Green Spots in Osaka." 13,000 irises of 250 different species bloom in profusion.
Johoku Iris Garden opened in 1964 in a corner of Johoku Park, which was created using the Yodo River riverbed. The strolling garden covers an area of approximately 1.3 hectares and is home to 13,000 irises of 250 varieties, including Edo, Ise, and Higo varieties, and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Greens of Osaka." During the garden's opening period from May to June, related events such as the "Johoku Park Fair" are held. During this period, many people visit from Osaka and further afield.

- From JR Osaka Station, Osaka Metro /Keihan Tenmabashi Station, or Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line Miyakojima Station, transfer to a city bus bound for Moriguchi Shako-mae and get off at Johoku Koen-mae
