Suntory Whisky Yamazaki Distillery

The birthplace of authentic Japanese malt whiskey
Suntory Yamazaki Distillery
Since construction began at Suntory Yamazaki Distillery in 1923, many of Japan's most iconic whiskies have been produced there. Inside the Yamazaki Whisky Museum (free admission, advance reservations required), you can enjoy various whisky-related exhibits, a shop, and a tasting lounge (fees apply) at your own pace. By participating in one of the tours (fees apply, advance lottery required), you can observe the whisky production process under the guidance of a guided tour staff member and enjoy tastings of the raw spirits that make up Yamazaki.
