Known as the home of Japanese whisky, the whiskies produced by the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery have come to define the identity of Japanese whisky since its establishment in 1923. Numerous exhibits in the Yamazaki Whisky Hall trace the history of Suntory whisky, starting with Suntory's founding. Visitors can experience the charms of whisky in a multitude of ways, whether at the tasting counter (charged) or through purchases at the gift shop.*Reservations are required for admission. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. (Advanced reservations are also required when visiting the Yamazaki Whisky Hall only.)
