[Currently closed] Kashida Bath (Takatsuki Forest Tourism Center)

Takatsuki Forest Tourism Center, directly managed by the Osaka Prefecture Forestry Association, is a nature experience facility where you can fully enjoy the mountain's natural beauty, with Hotels and restaurants, as well as a craft center, a shiitake mushroom center, and a playground called "Yamabiko no Mori." Located within the facility is Kashida Bath. Relaxing in the hot water in the spacious bathhouse, made with natural stone, is said to leave your skin feeling smooth. The view from the bath is just like forest bathing, and in the summer, you can even see fireflies. Another secret of this hot spring is that it is the first in Japan to be heated with wood pellet fuel made from felled wood from forest maintenance. The motto is "More comfortable, more environmentally friendly." The water is clear and colorless, and feels smooth on the skin.
