Tannowa Yacht Harbor
The sheer number of yachts harbored here brings to mind dreams of adventure.
Tannowa Yacht Harbor gathers together those who long to sail the sea. The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, Awaji Island, and Kansai International Harbor are near enough to see—sail south out of the port through the Kitan Strait and you’ll arrive to the Kii Channel, gateway to the Pacific Ocean. The first floor of the Yacht House building exhibits Koraasa 2, prized boat of Ikuo Kashima, who was the first Japanese person to successfully make a solo journey across the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
