Tondabayashi City Agricultural Park (Savor Farm)
Experience exciting farm work in a lush park, and spend pleasant holidays while enjoying fragrant seasonal flowers and herbs.
On a 20 ha site, this agricultural park has a number of areas to experience the blessings and beauty of nature. Visitors can harvest vegetables in season and pick flowers at Doronko (mud play) Land, as well as enjoy grape picking from summer to autumn at Mogitori Land. Next to the Maho (magic) House (a large greenhouse of tropical fruits) is a popular hands-on experience facility that provides a pressed flower workshop. The fruit tree/medicine tree exhibition garden for plants beneficial to humans, the Kaori-no-sono (fragrance garden) for herbs and roses, and the flower garden for a variety of seasonal flowers are also popular. Other attractions include the Boken-toride (adventure fort) equipped with outdoor recreational facilities; a lawn square for ball playing and other activities; a restaurant and BBQ house that offer menus featuring fresh vegetables; and a direct sales shop selling local agricultural products.
