Natural hot spring Tondabayashi Gakusan Onsen No. 2 spring
We are proud of our open-air bath, which offers a panoramic view of the idyllic rural landscape and Mount Kongo and Mount Yamato Katsuragi.
Tondabayashi Takeyama Onsen No. 2 is located inside Kamenoi Hotel Tondabayashi, which is built on the site of Takeyama Castle, which is associated with Lord Kusunoki.
The water is a sodium-calcium chloride hot spring, and is said to be good for lower back pain, neuralgia, frozen shoulder, fatigue recovery, and general health promotion.
The open-air bath, located at an altitude of 280m, offers a panoramic view of the dynamic Kongo Mountains.
The hotel has 43 Japanese and Western-style guest rooms, a banquet hall, a conference room, an observation deck with a 360-degree view, and a restaurant where you can enjoy seasonal kaiseki cuisine prepared by the chef, including crab dishes.
