Tondabayashi Station is about 30 minutes by train from Kintetsu Abenobashi Station in Osaka City. Tondabayashi Jinaimachi, a few minutes on foot from the station, is Osaka's only Preservation District for Groups of Historical Buildings. Strolling amongst its 450-year-old buildings, visitors will feel as if they've traveled back in time. There are also historic temples and shrines, and Savor Farm, an agricultural park where visitors can pick and eat fresh fruit. With easy access to neighboring Kanan Town and Chihayaakasaka Village, this is the place to start experiencing the natural beauty of the Kongo and Katsuragi mountains. At Kirameki Factory, visitors will find tourist information as well as local specialty products. A variety of events are held on the second floor of the building.
