Hamadera Park Transportation Amusement Park

The steam locomotive D51 and Hankai Electric Railway No. 130, which are the envy of railway fans, are right in front of you. Go-karts and children's trains are also very popular.
Kotsu Yuen was built in 1873 and is located within Hamadera Park, known for the beauty of its pine forests and rose gardens. Railway enthusiasts will be nostalgic for the Hankai Electric Railway No. 130 (Mo 121 type) and the D51 freight steam locomotive, affectionately known as Degoichi, are preserved and exhibited here. There are also popular rides for children, such as go-karts (ages 4 and up, 300 yen) that can be driven on a 760-meter highway course with slopes and curves, and battery cars (100 yen per ride). Since Kotsu Yuen is quite far from Hamadera Park's central entrance, it's also fun to take the children's train (300 yen for adults, 150 yen for children) from Rose Garden Station near the rose garden. While the route to Kotsu Yuen Station is short, about 1,200 meters, the station and tracks are just like the real thing. It's a peaceful ride through the greenery.
