Located a three-minute walk from the Chayamachi exit of Hankyu Railway's Osaka-Umeda Station, this theater hosts a variety of performances, primarily plays and Takarazuka Revue productions, as well as musicals, classical opera, and ballet. Reopened in 2005, the theater consists of two theaters: the Main Hall (formerly the Umeda Koma Theater) and Theater Drama City. The Main Hall, with its 1,905 seats, is designed to ensure the reverberation time and listening level are ideal for not only plays but also classical music performances, ensuring clarity of the musical sound and allowing the sounds of the performances on stage to feel close to the viewer.
