Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall

Located a three-minute walk from the Chayamachi Exit of Hankyu Railway's Osaka-Umeda Station, the Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall hosts a variety of performances, primarily Takarazuka Revue productions, from musicals to classical opera and ballet. Its predecessor, the long-established Umeda Koma Theater, opened in 1956. After renovating in 1992 to its current location as the Hiten Theater, it once again carried the name Umeda Koma Theater. In April 2005, it reopened under the name Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall. The 1,905-seat stage ensures reverberation time and listening level ideal for both theater and classical music performances, ensuring clarity of musical reverberation and a sense of intimacy with the sounds of the performances onstage. The theater continues to host the high-quality plays and concerts that have been cultivated at Umeda Koma Theater.
