9th: Yoiebisu (the eve of Ebisu festival)
October 10th: Hon-Ebisu (the main Ebisu festival)
November 11th: Nokori Ebisu (Remaining Ebisu Festival)
Amidst the chant of "Bring the bamboo for business prosperity," many worshippers praying for business success visit Imamiya Ebisu Shrine for three days from January 9th to 11th. Adding to the atmosphere and charm of Toka Ebisu are the lucky bamboo branches. Presented by shrine maidens called "lucky girls," these bright green bamboo branches are adorned with amulets and small lucky charms (large gold coins, lucky rakes, lucky winnowing baskets, etc.) and symbolize the prayers of people wishing for business prosperity and good fortune.
On the 10th, the Hoe-kago Gyoretsu (Treasure Palanquin Procession) will also take place. The Hoe-kago Gyoretsu originated from the geishas of Osaka's Minami district who paraded through the streets in elaborate palanquins to visit Imamiya Ebisu Shrine. During its heyday in the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa periods, as many as 100 palanquins competed to display their splendor, and the magnificent spectacle is still talked about today. Carrying on this tradition, the Hoe-kago Gyoretsu has become a beloved traditional folk event in Osaka, attracting great crowds every year. (The Hoe-kago Gyoretsu is not organized by Imamiya Ebisu Shrine, but is run by a promotion association comprised of local residents.)

Get off at Imamiyaebisu Station on the Nankai Koya Line and head east.
Approximately 8 minutes on foot east from Exit 3 of Daikokucho Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line.
Approximately 8 minutes on foot west from Exit 5 of Ebisucho Station on the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line.
Approximately 5 minutes on foot west from Ebisucho Station on the Hankai Line.
From JR Shin-Imamiya Station, walk north for about 10 minutes, or transfer to the Nankai Koya Line and get off at Imamiyaebisu Station.

Approximately 5 minutes from the Namba exit of the Hanshin Expressway.
About parking
*The parking lot is located on the west side (right side) of the temple grounds, accessed by entering the grounds from under the Hanshin Expressway overpass. It is available only during visiting hours.
*Please note that the parking lot may be unavailable during certain periods (January, July, November (Saturdays and Sundays), and December).
