A device that stands forever, allowing you to gaze at it leisurely

Basic information
The first retrospective of Japan's leading painter, Natsuyuki Nakanishi (1935-2016), 10 years after his death
The main purpose of this exhibition is to trace the trajectory of Nakanishi Natsuyuki's creative work, which began in the late 1950s, and to bring to light his unique perspective on painting.
Nakanishi's paintings do not necessarily depict a specific subject, and in that sense, they cannot be classified as either representational or abstract.
How does a picture appear on the screen?
First of all, where is the "place" of a painting?
His painting practice, which constantly returns to its roots, offers a new perspective for rethinking what it means to create paintings, especially here in Japan.
It should give you some good hints.
