Hitome Hakkei Scenic Area
Hitome Hakkei is a scenic area with a sweeping view of the surrounding
rocky peaks, such as Gunen-zan and Tobinosu-yama, and the observation deck offers magnificent views for you to enjoy.Each season brings its own beautiful scenery, with fresh green in the spring, and red and yellow leaves in the fall.It’s a popular tourist destination, with Japanese inns and hot springs nearby.

Kyoshuho Cliffs / Ao-no-domon Tunnel
Kyoshuho is a scenic area in Yabakei Gorge with a range of cliffs, including Ichi-no-mine, Ni-no-mine, and Ebisu-iwa.
It is one of Japan’s top three rugged beauty spots, and there’s even a climbing trail.Ao-no-Domon is a tunnel that the monk Zenkai dug using only a chisel and hammer.Traces of chisel marks from that time are visible from the walkway.
