Day 4 START

Katsuren Castle Ruins: World Heritage

Katsuren Castle Ruins, a World Heritage Site, is one of Okinawa’s finest castle ruins, with gracefully curved stone walls and tiered enclosures still intact. The higher you climb, the more the views open up, culminating in stunning panoramas of the East China Sea and the Pacific Ocean from the summit. Amawari Park at the base is also a draw, offering an entertaining way to learn about this place’s history.

Mid-Sea Road

A scenic road cutting straight across emerald-green seas. With a rest stop at the sea station along the way, this is one of Okinawa’s most exhilarating drives.
