  4. Osaka Prefectural Minoh Park

Now, let's head for Minoo Falls, about two kilometers away. The path that runs along the mountain stream is paved, making it easy and safe to walk on. The tall trees that reach into the sky create a natural tunnel, and sunlight filters through the gaps between the leaves. Along the gentle uphill slope, there are rest areas where you can take a breather, large rocks jutting out into the road, Ryuanji Temple nestled in the mountains, and a tea shop with a nostalgic atmosphere, making it an exciting hike. In the silence of the mountains, you can hear only the roaring of the stream as you climb the gentle mountain path, and eventually a large waterfall will appear before your eyes. Sit down in front of the waterfall and simply gaze upon the beautiful scenery, and the fatigue of your feet after walking for just under an hour will gradually melt away.

  5. Minoh Onsen

After enjoying Minoh Park, return to the waterfall path and head back towards the station. A dynamic, exposed concrete building jutting out from the slopes of Mt. Minoh is the Minoh Kanko Hotel, which opened in 1951. Take the observation elevator up the steep slope and walk through the scenic skywalk to the hotel, where the hotel's dazzling Japanese-style interior evokes a nostalgic atmosphere. Designed by the Sakakura Junzo Architectural Institute, this large-scale modernist building has recently been attracting attention as an architectural masterpiece. The hotel's most recommended attraction is the open-air bath, which makes the most of its location. The spectacular view overlooking Mt. Minoh becomes even more beautiful and romantic at night. Soothe your tired body in the natural hot springs after a day of fun. In addition to the hotel, the hotel also has a spa, bowling alley, and pool (summer only). The hotel's open-air bath and other bathing facilities are available to both overnight guests and day-trip guests (no need to bring a bath towel, etc.). The bath facilities at Spa Garden only provide bar soap, but bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. are sold.
