Asahi Theater
A long-established theater in Shinsekai that can accommodate 300 people. With box seats and a runway, it's truly a "theater."
Located 5 minutes from the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and Sakaisuji Line's "Dobutsuen-mae" and "Ebisucho" stations, the Shinsekai "Asahi Theater" can accommodate 200 people. It opened in 1910 as a Kansai Shinpa theater and was renovated in 1977 as a theater specializing in popular theater. It has box seats where you can get close to the actors. Popular theater companies change monthly and perform moving plays filled with laughter and tears, and the shows are beautiful and fun! It's definitely worth seeing!
