Dotonbori Konamon Museum
Konamon Museum is a place where you can eat, learn about and make Takoyaki: Osaka's soul food.
Dotombori's new tourist spot is a place to enjoy Takoyaki (the octopus-filled snack sold on Osaka street corners), learn about the roots of "konamon" and experience making wax samples of Takoyaki. Enjoy takoyaki served with carefully selected champagne and wine in a B1 basement bistro. On the 1st floor, you can watch the technique of Takoyaki experts firsthand, and eat the Takoyaki of the famous store Takoya Dotombori Kukuru. In the Konamon Historical Museum on the 2nd floor, see historical documents about takoyaki's famous brown sauce as well as konamon varieties other than Takoyaki. On the 3rd floor, you can make Takoyaki samples, which is just right for a souvenir. Enjoy yourself through "konamon" culture.
