Founded in 1848, Ogura-ya is a long-established store with over 150 years of tradition, dedicated to kelp. Inside the store, you'll find a wide selection of products that use the finest carefully selected kelp from Hokkaido, and have been awarded the Osaka Governor's Prize and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Prize. In addition, Ogura-ya's Ogi Okina, crafted by the skilled hands of hand-spun kelp craftsman Mr. Mita, has also won numerous awards, making it a must-try item.
