Edion Arena Osaka (Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium)

Located about 350m from Namba Station on Osaka Metro, the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium houses stadiums and dojos for a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, handball, badminton, table tennis, judo, kendo, gymnastics, and boxing, as well as a multipurpose hall and conference rooms. Originally constructed in 1952 using the framework of an airplane hangar, it underwent a complete renovation in 1985 and reopened in 1987 as a gymnasium with the aforementioned sports center functions, a role it continues to play today. It also offers classes for yoga, aerobics, walking exercises, and more.
