Citizens' Community Village Squirrel Garden

Formosan squirrels are kept here, and visitors can feed and even touch them.
The squirrel park is located in a corner of Osaka Sayama City's Citizens' Community Village, about a 20-minute walk east from Sayama Station on the Nankai Koya Line. There is a hut in the center of the spacious space, and nest boxes made of logs are scattered around it. Formosan squirrels are kept here, and if you feed them, they will come right up to you. Food is sold at the entrance for 100 yen. They are used to humans and do not run away if you touch them, but by the afternoon they get full and sometimes do not come out of their nest boxes, so it is said that the best time to visit is in the morning.
