Yamadaike Park

It will satisfy both outdoor and nature lovers. Also, the Hirakata Eight Views, "Moon over Yamada Pond," is a mysterious world where the moon shines on the water's surface.

This park is beloved as a place where you can easily enjoy the outdoors to your heart's content. Popular areas include a grassy hill, a free athletic field, and a barbecue area where parents and children can have fun together. There are also various events for experiencing farm work and nature crafts, and many other programs for getting closer to nature. The park is dotted with spots where you can enjoy flowers and greenery throughout the seasons, such as Maple Valley, the Flower Garden, the Aquatic Flower Garden, the Iris Garden, and the Hydrangea Garden. In the fall, you can also pick up acorns, and it is a popular relaxation space in the city. Yamada Pond in the park is a famous spot for viewing the moon. The moon reflected in Yamada Pond has been selected as one of the Eight Views of Hirakata.
