Yamadaike Park
Outdoor lovers and nature lovers are welcome here! Hirakata Hakkei "moon of Yamada Pond" is the world of ethereal shining on the surface of the water is reflected.
Known as an easily accessible place where one can let loose and enjoy the outdoors, the park's most popular areas are those such as its grass hills, athletic free square, and barbeque spaces that can be enjoyed by the whole family. There are also a variety of other ways to enjoy the park's natural blessings, such as farm work experience events, nature craft events, and more. In the park, you'll find the maple valley, the flowering trees garden, the aquatic flower garden, the Japanese iris garden, the hydrangea garden, and more. The park is dotted with spots from which you can enjoy flowers and greenery all year round. In the autumn, you can even go acorn hunting in the park which is used by many as an urban relaxation space. The park's Yamadaike Pond has received some renown as a moon viewing spot, with the reflection of the moon in Yamadaike Pond having been selected as one of Hirakata's eight most picturesque sights.
