Myojo Farm
A farm with a cafe popular for their tomato and fruit picking experiences. The glass-walled cafe filled with sunlight offers sweets made with fruits from its own farm, along a panoramic view of its surroundings. “Night-time Strawberry Picking” is held on Friday and Saturday nights. You can pick strawberries in a subtly lit greenhouse with a lantern in your hand.

A long-standing Echizen soba noodle restaurant, established over 90 years ago. Their specialty is soba served with grated daikon radish made with an uncompromising spirit.
The soba you make in the soba making class can be taken home or enjoyed as lunch at the facility.

Tree Picnic
Adventure Ikeda
A forest with one of the largest outdoor adventure facilities in Japan in the Shizuhara area of Ikeda Town.
It’s a place designed with the keywords “learning, playing, and uniting in a forest” in mind, where both children and adults can be exposed to nature while enjoying themselves.
A variety of facilities are available, from a “Mega Zipline” with a total length of about 1 kilometer, a forest jungle gym built above ground amongst the trees and an “Adventure Park,” to a “Co-Venture Park,” which can be enjoyed by small children. You can even spend the night outdoors.
There are log houses, cabins, tents set up on trees, as well as tree houses that wil make you feel as if you’re staying in a secret hideout.
