EDION Arena Osaka
A sporting center for various sports, including volleyball, basketball, judo and gymnastics. Classes for yoga and aerobics are also available.
Approximately 350 meters from the subway Namba Station, the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium has courts, arenas and dojo for volleyball, basketball, tennis, handball, badminton, ping-pong, judo, kendo, boxing, etc., as well as multi-purpose halls and conference rooms. It was built in the 27th year of the Showa Period (1952) by transporting and using the framing of an aircraft hangar, fully renovated in the 60th year (1985), and reopened in the 62nd year (1987) as a gymnasium equipped with sports center functions, remaining so today. Classes in yoga, aerobics and walking are also available.
