Suita City Information Dispatch Plaza Inforest Suita
The Suita City Information Dispatch Plaza is a two minute walk from Bampaku-kinen-koen Station on the Osaka Monorail. It is located within Expocity on the 1st floor of Lalaport Expocity, one of the country's largest combined commercial complexes.
A plaza devoted to collecting and proactively sharing information related to Suita's many charms in addition to tourist information. We carry pamphlets with information on Suita City and its colorful points of interest. Here you'll find fascinating monthly exhibitions ranging from Expo '70 itself to Gamba Osaka games, and more. We sell goods related to the Tower of the Sun, Expo '70, and "Suitan," Suita City's mascot character. Nicknamed "Inforest Suita," the plaza was created to be a place where information would gather like trees in a forest: a place where people could rest and take it easy. ("Inforest" was coined as a combination of the words "info," "forest," and "rest.")
