Wakuden MORI (Mori no naka no Ie Mitsumasa Anno Art Museum)
The Mitsumasa Anno Art Museum exhibits Mitsumasa Anno's soft delicate watercolor paintings featuring landscapes and natural scenes from around the world. The museum was designed by the world-renowned architect, Tadao Ando. It also houses a restaurant, where visitors can enjoy the charms of Tango cuisine while taking in the paintings and architectural beauty.

Nyoiji Temple
Nyoiji is the seventh temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect of Buddhism and one of the 25 Kansai Flower Temples.
It is a prayer temple for all to enjoy overlooking Kumihama Bay, and the grounds are filled with seasonal flowers and wildflowers, including Mitsuba azaleas in April. It is visited by many people throughout the year.

Inaba Family Merchant House and the townscape (walking and sightseeing)
This is the former residence of the Inaba family, wealthy merchants who made their fortune from a very successful shipping business focusing on coastal trade. This was backed by the wealth gained from malted rice production in Kumihama during the Edo period. Enjoy their specialty bota-mochi (rice cake with sweet bean paste) and tea in a relaxing atmosphere while gazing out at the garden from the detached villa, "Ginshosha."
