Nippon Genshosha
Visitors have the chance to tour and learn firsthand about swordsmith techniques at Nippon Genshosha in Kyotango. With the “tap, tap, tap” of a hammer on a red hot block of iron, visitors can get hands on and see the workings of a Japanese swordsmith workshop up close. Discover and admire the elegance of Japanese swords and the traditional hand-made sword forging process.

Roadside Station Tango Kingdom “Shoku no Miyako” in Kyotango’s Yasaka-cho, is one of the largest roadside stations in West Japan. On site, there is a market, restaurants, outdoor attractions, a plaza, a small zoo and more.
